The Hong Kong office of BINNIES (formerly known as BLACK & VEATCH) is seeking applicants to fill the following site staff posts for Contract No. ND/2024/06 – Fanling North New Development Area, Remaining Phase: Fresh Water and Flushing Water Service Reservoirs and Associated Works. The works comprises the construction of Fanling North Fresh Water Service Reservoir (FLNFWSR) and Fanling North Flushing Water Service Reservoir (FLNFLWSR) at Table Hill with associated site formation works; laying pumping and distribution water mains; and associated electrical and mechanical (E&M) works at existing Shek Wu Hui Water Reclamation Plant (SWHWRP). 

賓尼斯工程顧問有限公司 (前名為博威工程顧問有限公司)就合約編號為ND/2024/06–「粉嶺北新發展區餘下工程－食水及沖廁水配水庫及相關工程」誠聘下列駐守地盤工程人員。工程主要包括建造粉嶺北食水配水庫, 粉嶺北沖厠配水庫, 擴建區內相關配水管和接駁水管, 以及於石湖墟再造水廠內安裝水泵及相關機電工程。

RESIDENT ASSISTANT PROJECT OFFICER (2-year contract) (Ref: FLNSR/RAPO/494/2025) / 駐地盤項目助理 (2年合約) (Ref: FLNSR/RAPO/495/2025)

Applicants must obtain an academic qualification in the year 2025 in any of the following disciplines:

(a)  A degree in Civil / Structural Engineering which satisfies the academic requirements for corporate membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) in the Civil or Structural discipline as appropriate; or

(b)  A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related subject which satisfies the academic requirements for corporate membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) in the Quantity Surveying Division; or

(c)  A degree in Architecture obtained on completion of a 5-year full-time course of study or a qualification, which is acceptable to the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) as satisfying the academic requirements for admission into the HKIA Professional Assessment.

Job duties: 

(a) Provision of technical support to the implementation of digital management systems in relation to the works contracts and the project;

(b) Provision of assistance to Resident Engineer (RE)/ Resident Quantity Surveyor (RQS)/ Resident Architect (RA) or above in the delivery of their duties of the representative or delegate of the Project Manager, Supervisor, Engineer, Architect, Surveyor and/or Supervising Officer as appropriate under works contracts as assigned by the Consultant(s);

(c) Provision of assistance to RE/ RQS/ RA or above in the delivery of all their other assigned duties related to works contracts and the project;

(d) Collaboration with other RSS ranks for delivery of works contracts and the project in safe, efficient and cost effective manner with good quality; and

(e) Other duties related to the consultancy works, works contracts or the project as may be assigned by the head of the RSS team, their supervisors, RE/ RQS/ RA or above or the Consultant(s) from time to time.

Remuneration:

(a) The salary for this position during the 2 years contract is equivalent to Government Master Pay Scale point 7. 

(b) 15% gratuity for completion of contract with satisfactory performance.

(三) 完成五年或相等的全日制專業課程所獲取的建築學位或其他相關學歷，此等學位或學歷須符合參加香港建築師學會專業測評的要求

工作職責:

(一) 提供技術支持，以協助實施與工程項目相關的數字管理系統；

(二) 負責協助駐地盤工程師（RE）/駐地盤工料測量師（RQS）/駐地盤建築師（RA）或以上職位的工作，其工作由顧問公司和項目經理、其上司、工程師、建築師、測量師及/或監管人員在合約中所訂明

(三) 協助RE/RQS/RA或以上職位的工作，完成與工程項目相關的其他所有指派職責

(四) 與不同職級的駐地盤人員(RSS)合作，能有效確保工程項目質量上乘，且安全;

(五) 其他由駐地盤人員(RSS)的負責人，其上司、RE/RQS/RA或以上職位及顧問公司指派與項目相關工作。

薪酬福利:

(一) 於兩年合約期間，上述職位的薪金等同於政府總薪級表第7點

(二) 15%約滿酬金(發放與否需視乎表現而定)

The possession of a Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate or equivalent certification is required for the above positions.

The incumbents of position will be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) if necessary.
