Update of Policy Framework for Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme

Please note that the Policy Framework for Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme has been amended, with the latest version attached here CPD Policy Framework 2025.pdf. For easier reading, the major updates are highlighted below,

1. Purpose

The Policy Framework is administrated by the Continuing Professional Development Office (“CPDO”, former CPD Committee) and endorsed by the Council of HKIA for implementation.

2. Guidelines for CPD Events Enrolment Fee and CPD Hours

The guidelines on the above information is updated, please refer to Appendix G for further information.

3. Cancellation Policy

Enrolment fee applies to all successful registrants.  Cancellation must be made to the Secretariat FIVE (5) working days before the day of the event or by the deadline specified in the confirmation email to successful registrants, whichever is earlier. Otherwise, no refund will be made. If the successful registrants fail to show up in the CPD event, no refund will be made.  Please refer to Appendix E for further information.
