EVENT DETAILS
The “World Architecture Day” was established by the International Union of Architects (UIA) in 1985 and is observed on the first Monday of October each year. Its aim is to raise global awareness of architecture and promote the joint efforts of architects and residents toward sustainable living environments. This year, HKIA has curated an in-depth exploration of diverse local architectural styles. In Hong Kong — a vibrant international metropolis — the program showcases distinctive religious architecture under different cultural influences; alongside dynamic contemporary installations for the 15th National Games, reflecting the city’s dynamic urban landscape.
