Following the announcement of the “Smart City Blueprint 2.0” by the Government in December 2020, the first "smart public toilet" was completed in Pak Shek Kok Promenade, Tai Po. It adopts a bicycle-themed design from an overall design to every detail in the interior fit-outs and signage motif. It echoes and connects with the neighboring popular cycling track, becoming a check-in hotspot and a gathering cum resting place for tourists and cyclists. With a full set of smart toilet features, it provides a quality public toilet service to both visitors and local communities. It also brings the development and innovation of urban public toilets to a new milestone.
