Our Client, The Development Studio tasked us with creating a luxury landmark in Tai Ping Shan. Our response, 42 Tung Street, is a slender 23-storey tower in Soho, Sheung Wan, featuring 13 boutique units with individual lift lobby. The design blends modernity with traditional Tong Lau influences in harmony with the urban context. The south and west facades capture daylight and cross ventilation, while the gridded façade modulates views and sunlight penetration. Craftsmanship defines both interior and exterior, with a richly textured material palette enhancing the quality of space and light including a rooftop function room with panoramic city views.
