The Henderson is a 36-storey office tower located in the heart of Hong Kong’s central business district. The Henderson creates a new urban oasis that replaces a former multi-storey car park. With a form resembling the structure and layering of a Bauhinia bud about to blossom, the building connects to adjacent public gardens, parks and a public walkway system, and is a short walking distance to both Central and Admiralty MTR mass transit stations.
The Henderson’s tranquil outdoor areas flow into its generous communal interior spaces through a precisely crafted curved glass façade that underlines the seamless connectivity between the building and the surrounding gardens and city beyond. Its base is also elevated above ground level, sheltering courtyards and gardens cultivated with trees and plants, and creating new civic plazas that are enveloped by nature in the heart of this vibrant and bustling city.
