With decades of serving the public on road safety education, the facilities, hardware and software of the Road Safety Towns require refurbishment. In light of this, the Organiser aims to hold a competition titled “The Revamp of Sau Mau Ping Road Safety Town Design Competition”. The Competition encourages professionals and students from architecture and design related disciplines in Hong Kong to offer innovative and creative design ideas to revamp the Site into a sustainable, vibrant and interesting hub promoting road safety.
Revamp objectives:
⭐ Road Safety Education
⭐ Road Safety Advocacy
⭐ Community Engagement
The competition is divided into Professional Category and Student Category. Each category will award a Champion, First Runner-up and Second Runner-up. Winners will receive monetary prizes and certificates, and will be invited to attend the awards ceremony to be held in November.
