The Institute is inviting HKIA members to make nominations of HKIA Honorary Fellows.

Clauses of the Rules of the Institute relevant for the Nomination
Rule 8A:
Honorary Fellows shall be such persons of eminence as the Institute may wish to honour and whose membership would further the objects of the Institute.

Rule 13:
Every proposal for the election of an Honorary Fellow/ Honorary Member shall be made either by a Nomination Committee appointed by the Council OR by not less than seven Members. The nomination shall give the name, title and address of the candidate together with a statement of the grounds on which the person is nominated.

Criteria for Nomination
Honorary Fellow – Person with distinguished reputation in his /her field of expertise, whose contribution to architecture is recognized internationally, and whose membership will further the objects of the Institute.

Submission of Nominations

The completed nomination form (PDF / DOC format), with signatures and particulars of 7 HKIA members as required, should be returned to HKIA Secretariat, 19/F, One Hysan Avenue, Hong Kong, by 23 August 2024 (Friday). (Attn: Mr. Watson CHAN, HKIA Chief Operating Officer)
