Overview:

Organizing and undertaking building maintenance often requires engaging a diverse range of service providers to meet legal requirements and deliver necessary support.  However, many property owners and owners' corporations encounter challenges stemming from inconsistent service quality and limited transparency in the market.

URA’s Supports and Tools in Building Rehabilitation Project Implementation

Mr Lee of URA will share valuable insights into this expanding sector, emphasizing the importance of identifying and engaging high quality professionals.  The session will also highlight key support services offered by the URA, such as the Building Rehabilitation Company Registration Scheme, which aims to empower industry practitioners and encourage active participation in this sector.

Safeguard the integrity of the Building Maintenance Sector

Representatives from ICAC, HKP and CC will present case studies and highlight common illicit practices in the building maintenance sector, such as corruption, triad infiltration, and bid-rigging.  Speakers will also outline the services offered to address the issues concerned.  The session aims to raise awareness and empower stakeholders to contribute to a safer and more transparent sector.
