Synopsis
The HKIA Competition Committee is introducing our members to different aspects of entering architectural competitions through our 2024 series of CPD Events. In our third instalment, we are excited to bring in two architects to share their experience in winning competitions with strong site
characteristics.
Ar. Kenneth WONG and Ar. Kei NGAN, Winners of the competition “Transformation of Sensory Garden at Kwun Tong Promenade,” will share how their Upcyclescape captured the judges’ hearts by using recycled glass from wine bottles to create an educational, multi-sensory experience for visitors.
Ar. Kylie CHAN & Ar. Bill SO, Winners of the Hong Kong Observatory Tide Gauge Station at the Tai Po Kau Design competition will also be joining us to share their experience in winning a design competition by sculping the awareness of climate change while technically responding to the need of a machine.
