Synopsis

Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) endeavours to deliver quality professional services in an environmentally responsible manner. With the clear target for Hong Kong to achieve carbon neutrality before 2050, it calls for the staunch support and concerted effort of the local construction industry stakeholders to achieve a low carbon built environment. This sharing will highlight ArchSD’s commitment in green and low-carbon building design and construction through a framework of carbon neutrality strategy – the 3A strategy: "Amplify", "Accelerate" and "Act Together". Approach and experience in facilitating the development of low-carbon building design in ArchSD projects will also be covered.
