ARCASIA Architectural Wellness Design and Universal Design Award 2026-2027

Theme & Focus
Centered on "Empowering Architectural Excellence for Wellness and Universal Design" this competition challenges students to design equitable, inclusive spaces for all.
Participants are encouraged to develop socially responsible spaces—such as inclusive community hubs or interactive playgrounds—that highlight human-centric approaches and align with global Sustainable Development Goals.
Eligibility & Submission Rules
Open to Undergraduate (max age 22) and Postgraduate (max age 25) architecture students from universities recognized by an ARCASIA Member Institute.
Submissions require a team of 3 to 5 members, led by an official Student Member of an ARCASIA Member Institute.
Teams must include at least one member from a related discipline, such as Urban Planning, Sociology, or Urban Design.
Proposals must include up to four A2 PDFs for the design and a two-page A4 PDF Design Statement.
