Overview:
This seminar would review the roles of project management (PM) from multiple perspectives. Whilst architects have been managing projects for decades, speakers in the seminar will share how professionals take up the PM challenges.
Apart from architects’ viewpoints, the session also features insights from the HKIPM sharing valuable industry standards and collaborative practices, and how HKIS addresses best practices for bridging design with property and facilities management, and concludes with contemporary strategies to optimize modern project delivery.
As concluding remarks, the sharing places strong emphasis on the Project Manager (Architect) [PM(A)], examining how formal HKIA recognition validates architects' specialized leadership and expertise in steering complex developments alongside existing institutional specialisms. It highlights the critical impact of professional project management in driving efficiency, managing budgets, and navigating regulatory complexities within the construction industry.
