CPD Seminar: Updates on HKIA BIM Pro Assessments

Introduction
To keep HKIA members informed of the latest BIM practices and to provide greater flexibility for those applying for the BIM Specialist qualification, HKIA has updated the HKIA BIM Accreditation Programme Application Handbook (April 2026). The updated version incorporates the following measures:
- General Update on Core Competencies
- Fast-track Arrangement for Panel Interview Assessment & Streamlined Procedure to obtain CCBM Certification
Brief detail of the Seminar
Ar. David Fung from Digital Sustainability Committee will give an introduction to the upcoming syllabus changes to the HKIA BIM Pro assessments which will come into effective in October 2026.
Both potential candidates of HKIA BIM Pro and assessors are invited to attend this refresher seminar. Existing HKIA BIM Pro qualified members are also encouraged to attend the seminar to stay updated with the latest BIM Practices.

- Mainland BIM Standards
- Common Spatial Data Infrastructure, 3D Digital Map
- Digital Twin
- Artificial Intelligence
- Large Language Model
- Smart Site Safety System
