[Event Recap] ALKF MiC Project Tour at HKU

On 30 May 2026, the HKIA members-only tour of the High West Development at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) was held successfully.
Representatives from HKU and ALKF presented different aspects of the project including planning, construction and the challenges they have encountered. By adopting Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) and advanced steel hybrid system, design flexibility and efficiency were enhanced. Members were impressed by their attention to details, and use of new technologies in fabrication, transportation and quality control.
