CPD Seminar: Reflections on Architectural Heritage and Conservation
Date: 07 May 2026

In an ever-changing metropolis where there is constannt pressure in development and redevelopment, how have architects defined and redefined their role in conserving and adaptively reusing our architectural heritage? This CPD series invites key architects in the field who have shaped the landscape of architectural conservation and adaptive reuse in Hong Kong. Through discussing their early career beginnings and their present-day endeavours, we review the state of the profession from varying aspects, covering design, management and policy, understand the challenges and seek opportunities in the way forward, and reconsider the role of architects in conserving our city’s architectural heritage in the future.
