Ar. LAM’s deep interest and engagement with the possibilities of architecture and sensitivity to social issues are evident in his proposal and experience. He demonstrates a clear desire to contribute to Hong Kong society and his profession as an Architect.

His design proposal approaches the issue of Hong Kong’s “double aging” in both pragmatic and innovative ways with strategic interventions for the elderly and for the built environment.

Founder of his own architectural practice, the Jury was impressed with his self-motivation and commitment to the discipline.

The Panel believes that Ar. LAM will benefit from his proposed research trip to Japan, and that he will share his insights with the profession and the general public.
