The Chung Chi Student Development Complex Is the first step in The Chinese University of Hong Kong to showcase how PASSIVE SUSTAINABLE DESIGN can benefit the entire university with sustainable and environmental friendly future. The design of the redevelopment project aims to allows students to enjoy green campus life, reduce energy consumption and influence students on concept to flow carbon living through their daily life using the building and walking the journey.
The design embraces wellbeing and excellence within a sustainable built environment by striving to maintain a eco-healthy and green building environment. By envisioning sustainability in a more fully encompassing manner, from nurturing the culture of sustainability to contributing to the community, a more holistic outcome can be achieved.
