Key Responsibilities:
The incumbents will be required to work 5-day full-time for 8 weeks from 6 July to 28 August 2026 in Development & Works Division to assist in the following duties under supervision:
Architectural Intern
|
1. |
Assist in co-ordinating the preparation of feasibility studies, schematic and detailed design drawings for hospital development. |
|
2. |
Assist in co-ordinating with the professional service providers for drawing, report and project information preparation and monitor the work progress in meeting HA’s requirements. |
|
3. |
Assist in preparing presentation materials for meetings. |
|
4. |
Assist in site coordination and report preparation. |
|
5. |
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors. |
Engineering Intern
|
1. |
Assist in reviewing and documentation of guideline and workflow on facilities operation and maintenance for hospitals. |
|
2. |
Conduct data collection and analysis related to facilities operations, energy management, capital works projects and risk and incident management. |
|
3. 4. |
Prepare presentation materials and documents for meetings and conferences. Assist in co-ordinating and monitoring progress of hospital development projects. |
|
5. |
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors. |
Surveying Intern
|
1. |
Plan and implement minor works projects in hospitals. |
|
2. |
Manage works agents through contract meetings, site inspections and audits. |
|
3. |
Take part in the rolling inspection against hospital facilities and managing associated repair works. |
|
4. |
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors. |
Entry Requirements:
|
1. |
Completion of F.5 / S.5.
|
Preferable Attributes/Exposure:
|
1. |
Full-time undergraduate students who are currently undertaking a Bachelor Degree in Architectural / Engineering (Civil/ Structural/ Building Services/ Building Environment and Energy Engineering/ Electrical/ Mechanical) / Surveying or related disciplines (Year 2 or above) from a recognised university in Hong Kong, or equivalent. |

Good command of both written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese) and English. |
|
3. |
Proficiency in computer applications, including English and Chinese word processing, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. |
|
4. |
Basic skills in application of AutoCAD, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Photoshop are desirable. |
