Dear Members,
Call for Your Participation in HKIA Committees 2023
To promote the betterment of architecture and general benefits of our members, our Institute primarily functions through the leadership of the Council together with the works of the 6 Boards and some 20 plus Committees.
Stepping into the new year 2023, the Council is preparing for the formation of the various Committees under the new term.
The list of HKIA Committees and their relevant objectives can be found here for your reference. By serving on the Committees, members would have gained relevant experience in the Institute’s works before they could be invited to join the Boards.
The running of the Committees is governed by the Institute’s Operations Manual Volume I implemented since 2009. The key requirements on Committee members are:

Willingness to contribute relevant and constructive inputs;

Commitment to carry out the works of the Boards and Committees and attend meetings; and
-
A minimum 50% meeting attendance annually.
Frequency of Committee meetings will be determined by the respective Committee Chairperson. Your participation will be recognized under the HKIA CPD policy framework.
