HKIA & HKUST CPD Seminar: Designing for our Regenerative Future of High-density Cities
Local

The Seminar was successfully held on 24 April 2024 evening at HKIA Premises, with attendance of over 250 participants, physical and online. It was our honour to have a heavy-weight speaker – Mr. David GOTTFRIED, Founder of U.S. & World Green Building Councils and currently the Chief Commercialization Officer of Blue Planet Systems, sharing his insights on “Building a 1.5°C Movement – A Climate Action System for the Built Environment”. David is recognized as a pioneer of the global green building movement, with experience in delivering strategic green building consulting services to leading green building owners, manufacturers and governments. With “Passion, Purpose and Mission”, it is inevitable and determined to build a regenerative culture for high-density cities as well as a zero-carbon world, taking account of the climate emergency, waste crisis, biodiversity and non-renewable resources depletion.

A Panel Discussion took place after David’s presentation, it was pleasure to have our 5 Panelists, sustainable design experts from various disciplines –
