HKIA Annual Awards 2013 - Call for nominations
Important Announcement on 23 December 2013
Dear members,
 
While you are preparing submissions to the HKIA Annual Awards 2013, I would like to inform you that there are adjustments on submission and judging schedule and jury panel composition.
 
Submission and judging schedule
To tie in with the HKIA “Hey June” 2014 programme, the submission and judging schedule have been revised. Submission deadline is now re-scheduled to 22 January 2014, Wednesday, 5:30pm instead of 8 January 2014. Judging process is correspondently re-scheduled to February 2014. Details of the submission and judging schedule is as follows for your reference:
 
27 November 2013 – 22 January 2014 – Nomination period
22 January 2014, 5:30pm – close of nomination
26 February 2014 – First screening by Jury Panel
27 February – 1 March 2014 – Presentations, site visits and jury’s recommendations
 
Jury Panel composition
The Institute appointed Ms. Susanna CHIU, President of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, to be the Lay Juror of HKIA Annual Awards 2013 to substitute for Prof. Christopher John WEBSTER, who are unavailable to the judging process.

Dear Members,
 
We cordially invite your participation in the HKIA Annual Awards 2013. With an aim of “Build a Better Hong Kong, Promote Architectural Excellence”, we recognize outstanding architectures by local architects by awarding the HKIA Annual Awards every year. 
 
Hong Kong Architecture has been stepping up in the international arena in recent years. Our fellow architects’ works could be seen everywhere in the world. The project Parkview Green FangCaoDi, which was awarded with Merit Award Outside Hong Kong, won the Gold Award of Architects Regional Council of Asia (ARCASIA) under the Institute’s nomination. We are glad to see our members’ works are being recognized internationally and believe there are increasing international awards our fellow architects would receive.
 
May I take this opportunity to introduce to you our jury panel:
