Seconded Architect

We  are  looking  for  an  architect  as  seconded  architect  in  the Hong  Kong Housing  Authority  (HKHA). 

Qualifications and Experience Requirements
(1)  Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) and Registered Architect of the  Architects Registration Board (ARB) of Hong Kong, or equivalent ; 
(2)  Have “Grade E” or above  results in both Chinese Language and in English Language  (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent ; and
(3)  Have  a  minimum  of  two  years  post‐qualification  experience  in  design  and/or  site  supervision of Architectural works for high‐rise construction (at least 40‐storey), and  possess detailed design and documentation experience of construction, with a good  knowledge of construction standard and specification, and a thorough understanding  of the technical issues of architecture. 

Duties of Appointment
a)  Carry out design, site supervision and/or conduct design coordination and liaison for  Housing Department projects or works; and 
b)  Contribute in research and development of the technical design on standard of public  housing. 

Successful candidates will be employed on contract terms for twenty-four months.
