Synopsis

The Agreement & Schedule of Conditions of Building Contract (with and without quantities), Nominated Sub-Contract and Nominated Supply Contract (collectively called the “Standard Form of Building Contract”) were jointly published by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA), the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (HKICM) and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS). The Standard Form of Building Contract has been widely used by the private sector of the construction industry.

To keep pace with the changing industry, the Institutes took the initiative to update and enhance the Standard Form of Building Contract. Apart from announcing the launch of the updated Standard Form of Building Contract, the speaker will also highlight the major changes.
