Xiqu Centre, Hong Kong

Working in collaboration with Bing Thom Architects, the Xiqu (Chinese Opera) Centre will be the first of 17 core arts and cultural venues to be opened within the District. The architecture incorporates a generous amount of public leisure space, in addition to 2,000 square metres of training and education facilities, two superbly designed auditoria for 1,100 and 400 seats (the latter to be developed in phase 2) respectively and a traditional Tea House for performances for audiences up to 280. The project is scheduled for commission in end of 2016.

ZCB Zero Carbon Building, Hong Kong

Completion: 2012
The first zero carbon building in Hong Kong is in operation since 2012. The project includes a visitor and education centre, indoor exhibition spaces for showcasing Eco-home and Eco-office, multi-purpose room and other ancillary functions. The landscaped area is opening to the public for leisure use and outdoor exhibition.

Lake Dragon Residential Development, Guangzhou, China

Completion: On-going
Lake Dragon residential development sits by the scenic Jiulonghu (Dragon Lake) in Guangzhou amid lush greenery. The first phase was completed in 2009 and has 243 detached and semi-detached villas ranging from 350 to 875 square metres. It creates a contemporary village environment combining European architectural elements with aspects of Chinese vernacular architecture in unique and unexpected ways. The development blends well with the natural setting, offering a picturesque view of golf course as well as the lake.

China Resources Building, Hong Kong

Completion: 2012
In refurbishing the existing China Resources Building, built in 1983, the environmental performance of the property is greatly improved. The wider project encompasses four further elements including the upgrade of retail area and the existing main office block, a new hotel and ground level landscaping. The project obtained LEED (Core & Shell) Gold rating.

The development consists of 330 2-storey and 3-storey luxurious residential houses sitting at the picturesque Beas River countryside. The size of villa range from 260 sq.m. to 840 sq.m. This residential development is sub-divided into 2 phases by Kwu Tung Road. To harmonize with the graceful rural surrounding environment, lush landscapes are planned for most of the communal areas to enrich the space and improve the micro-climate.

Academic 3, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Completion: 2012
A new 20-storey landmark building in the centre of the Kowloon Tong campus. To provide additional classrooms and university offices to meet the spatial demand due to the "3+3+4 Education Reform". Facilities include student amenities, teaching and research laboratories, a 600-seat theatre and administration offices.

Siu Sai Wan Complex, Hong Kong

Comprising a 1000-seat multi-purpose arena, two indoor swimming pools, a library, a table tennis centre, a children's play room, two combinable activities rooms and a 450-seat community hall, Siu Sai Wan Complex provides leisure and recreational facilities within an iconic green building envelope for residents in the Eastern District of Hong Kong Island.

Poly Tower V Building, Guangzhou, China

Located at the heart of Guangzhou Zhujiang Xincheng, Poly Tower V Building is a comprehensive development comprising office tower and commercial podium. The design takes advantage of the best vista around the site and focuses on continuing development potential and sustainability.

Civil Aviation Department New Headquarters, Hong Kong

Completion: 2012
In response to the operational needs of Civil Aviation Department's various functional divisions, the design provides optimum working conditions within the key facilities such as the Air Traffic Control Centre, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Department or the Examination and Training facilities. Other special areas that are meant to receive industry partners and visitors such as the Main Entrance Lobby, the Auditorium, the Conference Rooms or the Educational Path for ATC tour presentation are designed to reinforce CAD's ability to promote understanding and interest among the general public and professionals, thereby enhancing its role in the regional and international aviation scene.

Located at the foothills of Yuk Kwai Shan and along the eastern fringe of Ap Lei Chau, this luxurious residential development comprises nine 29 to 32-storey towers above a four-level podium containing recreational and retail facilities as well as a car park. All nine towers enjoy waterfront views and are arranged in a wavy form of three clusters. 5-storeys high sky garden in each cluster adds volumetric interest to the overall form as well as enhancing the visual permeability.
