We are sad to announce the passing of Ar. Bernard HUI (許文博), a long-serving HKIA Fellow who passed away on 11 January 2023 at the age of 76. He joined HKIA in 1977, and had contributed tremendously to the pursuit of architectural excellence and development of the Institute and the profession in Hong Kong, serving as the Chairman of the Architects Registration Board from 2003 to 2005.
Ar. HUI will always be remembered as a committed architect for the profession and the society. We grievously miss his association with the Institute, and we offer our sincere condolences to members of his family.
The funeral of Ar. HUI will take place on 9 Feb 2023 (Thu) at 10am at St. Joseph's Church, 37 Garden Road, Hong Kong.
