BEAM Society Limited (BSL) and Construction Industry Council (CIC) are collaborating to research and develop an Environment and Sustainability Data Unification Platform (tentatively known as "iBEAM Unison") to unify the different environmental and social sustainability data generated throughout the design and construction process. The objective is to create a common data environment that links up the data between Building Information Modelling, BEAM Plus assessment by BSL and Carbon Assessment and Sustainable Finance Certification by CIC. iBEAM Unison will be built on top of the existing iBEAM Assessment Automation System and will serve as a powerful data warehouse to assess and analyze environmental and social sustainability data for the building industry.
