The Council Election for 2022-2023 is open for nomination now and its result will be announced at the Third Quarterly General Meeting scheduled for 16 September 2021. Please click here for the tentative election schedule and the list of vacant posts.
According to Rule 33 of the Institute "Any two or more Members may nominate candidates for the offices of President, Vice President, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and for ordinary Membership of the Council".
I hereby invite your nomination of HKIA Members to the 4 vacant posts of Council for the term 2022-2023. The Nomination Form can be downloaded here (DOC / PDF). The completed and signed Nomination Form* together with a passport size photo of nominee must be delivered to Ms. Queenie WONG, Chief Operating Officer on or before 9 August 2021, Monday, 12:00noon by hand at HKIA Premises, 19/F, One Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong and email at councilelection@hkia.net (*the originally signed Form can only be submitted by hand).
In order to ensure that all submissions are in compliance with The Rules of The Institute and the requirements in this Circular, please send in your submission including at least two nominators' signatures. Submission of Nomination Form by fax or by email would not be accepted. Submission received will be regularly announced on the Institute’s website after the opening of nomination. Please note that each Form will be applicable for one nomination only and late return after the deadline will not be processed.
