Congratulations to The Gate of Blessing for being awarded with the HKIA Idea Design Competition 2020 - Entrance Gateway Design for Victoria Park Lunar New Year Fair 2021.
The HKIA Idea Design Competition 2020 is organized by HKIA and supported by Architectural Services Department. With steadfast support by the Architectural Services Department on our young talents, the winning design will be built for the Lunar New Year Fair to welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors and celebrate the traditional festival. Winner will receive Prize Certificate, HK$25,000 Cash Cheque and an additional design service fee for the implementation of the project. Two Merits will receive Prize Certificate and HK$15,000 Cash Cheque.
Twenty-three submissions were received. In the jury panel meeting on 6 August and interaction with selected teams on13 August 2020, the jury panel reviewed the submissions and awarded the following candidates. The jury panel was impressed by the creativity of the candidates’ design schemes.
Results are decided by a 5-member Jury Panel after a series of investigation, conversation with candidates and debate in 2-week time. We would like to express our gratitude to the 5-member Jury Panel, consisting of
