Council Election 2020-2021: Call for Nomination

The Council Election 2020 - 2021 is open for nomination now and its result will be announced at the Third Quarterly General Meeting scheduled for 26 September 2019. Please download from below a tentative election schedule, a list of serving Members with term of office ending 31 December 2020 and a list of vacant posts for your reference.

According to Rule 33 of the Institute "Any two or more Members may nominate candidates for the offices of President, Vice President, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and for ordinary Membership of the Council".

May I request your nomination of HKIA Members to the 4 vacant posts of Council for the term 2020-2021? The Nomination Form can be downloaded from (DOC / PDF). Please return a printed AND a digital copy (in .doc format) of the completed nomination form to Ms. Queenie Wong, Chief Operating Officer, on or before Monday, 12 August 2019 12:00 noon at HKIA Premises, 19/F, One Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

In order to ensure that all submissions are in compliance with The Rules of The Institute and the requirements in this Circular, please send in your at least two nominators' signatures by mail/ hand before the deadline. Submission of nomination form by fax or by email would not be accepted. Submission received will be regularly announced on the Institute’s website after the opening of nomination. Please note that each form will be applicable for one nomination only and late return after the deadline will not be processed.
