Join HKIA
The HKIA Cross-Strait Architectural Design Awards is the only bi-annual student competition of its kind in the region since its inception in 2013.
The student design competition with the theme of ‘shape and shapeless’ challenges participants to interpret and redefine ‘shapes’ or ‘shapeless’ through an architectural intervention design proposal that transcends humanity and nature. The submissions are expected to reflect the spirit of physicality and philosophy aspects of ‘shapes’ or ‘shapeless’, and open a platform to discuss the direction of future development in the context of the Straits and the Belt and Road.

The competition results will be announced during the Awards Presentation Dinner at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong on 21st June 2019.
