The Hong Kong Volunteer Award as a territory-wide biennial Campaign, aims not only to commend the outstanding volunteers / volunteer group and the business corporation, but also to raise public awareness of the value and contribution, and to inspire good volunteer practices of volunteering.
The Fourth Hong Kong Volunteer Award organized by Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) will select 10 individual volunteers and volunteers groups and also a business corporation for their distinguished contributions and accomplishments in promoting volunteerism. Nominations are now open and will close on 30 June 2011.
