1. What is the application process of ACA17?

Applicants are required to fill in the registration form

The registration form is available both online and offline. For offline registrants, they are required to fill in the form and return via email (aca17hk@creativegp.com) or by post to the following address:

2. When are the application deadlines?

Early Bird Registration: From now on to 31 July 2016 Seats are limited, and will be served under first-come, first-served basis.

4 How can I obtain the registration forms?

You can send an email to Creative Consulting Group, our event secretariat, to request for an application form in either Word or Excel format.

Registration Fee/
Cancellations and Refunds

1. How can I confirm my payment and registration has been received?

Confirmation email will be sent upon completion of the registration process and receipt of full payment

Registration email will be sent before the event with a registration number.

2. What is the registration fee?

There are two categories: General Registrants and Young Architects

Young Architects must be below 40 years of age, born on or after 1 January 1976

The Early Bird and Standard registration fees for general registrants are USD 500 and USD 550 respectively

The Early bird and Standard registration fees for young architects are USD 450 and USD 500 respectively

3. Are there any discounts for group registration?

For group registration of a minimum of 5 registrants, 10% discount is offered for both ACA17 and ARCASIA Student Jamboree 2016

4. How do I pay the registration fee?

Registrants can settle their payments via PayPal, T/T Transfer or by Cheque.

For PayPal, only Visa or MasterCard are accepted.

For T/T Transfer, the details are as follow:

For cheque payments, only cheques issued by banks in Hong Kong are accepted.

5. How can I cancel my registration if I am unable to attend the congress due to medical, family-related or personal reasons?

Yes, you may cancel your registration. Cancellation requests must be made in writing to the ACA17 via email or fax with relevant document proofs. Cancellation requests will only be considered complete with confirmation email.

6. How do the refunds work

On or before 31 July 2016: 70% refund of all payments

On or before 31 August 2016: 50% refund of all payments

No refunds for cancellation after 31 August 2016

Travel/Visa Applications

1. How do I apply for a visa?

ACA17 will issue a confirmation email and a letter to the Consulate (upon request) that can be used for your visa application, but we cannot endorse registration. It is the personal responsibility of the registrant to obtain a visa in time for the conference.

2. How soon upon confirmation should an applicant apply for a visa?

Since obtaining a visa takes a while for many people, it is crucial to start as soon as possible, preferably once you receive your electronic acceptance letter by email.

Accommodations/ Expenses

1. What will be provided if I happen to be vegetarian?

Vegetarian meal will be available at all official meals at ACA17. In fact, vegetarian registrants and those requested special meals will be identified from the registration forms. However, other special meals will be subject to availability.

2. Will accommodation be provided?

ACA17 does not cover accommodation expenses. Participants are required to make accommodation arrangements themselves.

There is a wide range of hotel options, within a shorter distance to the venue, suiting all budgets.

3. Will transportation from and to the airport be provided?

Since obtaining a visa takes a while for many people, it is crucial to start as soon as possible, preferably once you receive your electronic acceptance letter by email.

Delegates are requested to make their own transportation arrangement to and from the Congress venue. There are also plenty of ways to get around places in Hong Kong, detailed information can be found here.
